The Tarrant County Emmaus-Chrysalis  Community exists to help Christians grow in their relationship with Christ and to become better leaders in their churches using the model of the Walk to Emmaus developed by the Upper Room.

A sponsor helps an interested individual through the registration process and throughout the entire the three day weekend. While the sponsor does not normally attend the Walk, he or she does transport the pilgrim to and from the site.

The Walk to Emmaus does not end after the weekend. Following the walk, each person is encouraged to participate in weekly Reunion Group activities and monthly community meetings called Gatherings.
