Welcome to the Tarrant County Emmaus-Chrysalis Area website.
We exist to:
- Encourage a closer walk with Christ
- Connect interested Walk to Emmaus participants to necessary resources
- Provide support for sponsors
- Host monthly gatherings
The Tarrant County Emmaus Chrysalis Area is the result of the 2018 joining of the Arlington-Mid Cities and the Fort Worth Emmaus Groups. It is made up of individuals and churches from the Tarrant County area. We are affiliated with the national Walk to Emmaus as well as the Central Texas Walk to Emmaus movements.
We originally called ourselves the Tarrant County Emmaus Chrysalis Community (TCECC). However, it was discovered that the use of community does not fit the Emmaus model. Our local community is Central Texas Emmaus Community which has a board of directors recognized by the Upper Room Emmaus Ministries.
